Come to discuss What Eyes Don’t See: A Story of Crisis, Hope and Resistance in an American City by Dr. Mona Hanna-Attisha. It’s a riveting account of the Flint water crisis in which a Michigan pediatrician and a team of others discovered that children were being exposed to harmful lead in their tap water. We’ll be welcoming Kyleigh Weisensel, RN, BSN, CLC of the Waukesha County Public Health Division to share more about their Lead Poisoning Prevention Program at the local level. Registration is not required.
