Community Rooted Resource Initiative

There is a group of us that have come together and organized a resource fair for the community. I work with Rosecrance Behavioral Health, a substance use and mental health treatment program and my colleagues work at Newport Academy, an adolescent mental health treatment program. We have found that so many clinicians, individuals, families, etc. don't know all of the resources that are available. WI has a limited number of treatment programs and often times, people are going without the help they need which leads to housing insecurity, job insecurity, food insecurity, etc. We'd like to help bridge the gap and help people in and out of treatment. The goal is to hold this event quarterly and switch between Milwaukee and Waukesha Counties.
