Join Dr. Vapnek as she discusses Flynn’s family history of activism, her development as a public speaker, her leadership in the Industrial Workers of the World, and her journey as a fearless advocate for free speech. Dr. Lara Vapnek is the author of the book Elizabeth Gurley Flynn: Modern American Revolutionary and is a Professor of History at St. John’s University in Queens, New York.
