Purpose of Meeting
Pflag Waukesha is a group that supports, educates and advocates for the LGBTQIA+ community and their family, friends and allies. Some of our meetings are "support" and some are "educational". Focusing centrally on the most recent and anticipated federal and state cases addressing LGBTQIA+ and related issues, former US Attorney Jim Santelle will discuss with us a variety of Rule of Law topics. Those will include the means and mechanisms by which challenges to civil rights are begun and then progress through our court system, along with assessments of the impact of these rulings for all of us. Special attention will be on recent court developments. Mr. Santelle will encourage questions, comments and perspectives from our group about all of these critically important issues.
