Wisconsin Geocachers

Purpose of Meeting

We are a group of Wisconsin geocachers that enjoy the great outdoors. In addition to finding geocaches, we also participate in park clean-ups, the Waukesha Janboree, family friendly events with a geocaching theme, and there is even a geocache placed in the Children's section of the Waukesha Public Library. Geocaching headquarters in Washington State is releasing their annual film "The 2023 Geocaching International Film Festival" with 18 finalists featured so we are looking for a room large enough to host a film viewing event. There are events being held around the world in November and we have permission to show the film. We do have our own laptop. Our event is open to the public and it will also be published on the geocaching website as well as the Wisconsin Geocaching Association website. It is free to attend. Preference is they register on the website so we can track attendance but that is not mandatory. We plan to serve snacks and nonalcoholic beverages. The film is about an hour long so we need time before the film for a meet and greet and time after the film for clean-up.
Thank you for your consideration and I look forward to hearing from you.
