Come and discuss a rich family saga centered on a puzzling inheritance—a traditional Caribbean black cake left in the freezer and the voice recordings of a mother whose untold secrets explain why she left her island home as a talented young swimmer to seek a new life abroad. Jamaican lemonade and Caribbean treats will be served.
