Purpose of Meeting
PFLAG Waukesha Educational Meeting. Gail Marquardt will be the presenter of the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention "Talk Saves Lives" educational program, covering the general scope of suicide, the research on prevention and what people can do to fight this leading cause of death. An introduction to suicide prevention in the LGBTQIA+ community gives participates essential and lifesaving understanding of topics such as suicide risk factors, protective factors, latest research and available supports. September is Suicide Prevention Month.
