Vaudevillian acts rose in popularity during a time of massive social change and economic uncertainty. They provided a way to see the concerns of everyday people in a world dominated by robber barons and wealthy businessmen. Join UWM’s Dr. Gillian Rodger as she takes us on a journey through this fascinating time.

This event is part of the NEA BIG READ-Waukesha Reads program. NEA BIG READ is a program of the National Endowment for the arts in partnership with Arts Midwest.
