Purpose of Meeting
Jennifer Harders from the Aging & Disability Resource Center of Waukesha County will be at the Library to meet with people regarding resources or to complete screens. Please call her at 262-548-7650 in advance to make an appointment.
Every county in Wisconsin has a Dementia Care Specialist at the ADRC to assist individuals and families living with dementia to remain as active and independent as possible in the community. These individuals meet with community members to discuss brain health tips, dementia, caregiver strategies and community resources.
Dementia Care Specialists also provide memory screens for people concerned about changes. A memory screen is a wellness tool that helps identify possible changes in memory and cognition.
